Sallah celebration : Let us embrace the spirit of compassion, generousity by reaching out to the less privileged — Aleshinloye 

As Muslims in the country join their counterparts all over the world to mark Eid el-kabir, an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and grassroots politician, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye, MDII, has felicitated with the Muslim Community on the celebration.

In a sallah message issued on Thursday, through his media office, Aleshinloye urged Nigerians to continue promoting peace, unity and understanding among all citizens.

“As we celebrate Eid-el-kabir, may the spirit of sacrifice, compassion, and gratitude guide us. I pray that the blessings of Allah continue to shine upon us. I commend the Muslim community for their devotion and resilience”, he said.

The ex ALGON chairman in Oyo State called on the Muslim faithful to use the Eid-el-kabir celebrations to re-dedicate themselves to peace, security, friendship and practise the virtue of Islam as professed by Prophet Mohammad (SAW) and demonstrated in his sacrificial obedience to all the tenets of Islam.

The former Oluyole local government Chairman   encouraged Muslims to embrace the spirit of empathy and charity by reaching out to the less privileged and people of other faiths during this festive season as a way of enhancing bonds of friendship and brotherhood that promote tolerance, peace and solidarity.

The deputy national chairman NALGON EMERITUS urged Nigerians to use the joyous occasion to pray for our leaders and the peace, progress and socio-economic development of our dear country.

“What is needed by all Nigerians is patience and full support for President Bola Tinubu regime to be able to accelerate the pace of progress and the desired comprehensive development of Nigeria.

“We should all resolve to live in peace and unity in our great country, which should be the topmost priority of our nation”.  Happy Eid-el-kabir, drive safely to make the festival accident free and  celebrate with moderation, he added
