President Bola Ahmed Tinubu : Even God Almighty is angry

The Oyo state Chairman of the APC, Barrister Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu died recently and the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu did not deem it fit to condole with the family of the deceased. Neither did the President condole with the Oyo APC family through a delegation or an official statement.

The President also played no part in the burial arrangements and neither did he send any delegation to represent him in any of the burial programs.

The National headquarters of the APC was not left out of the snub and inhuman treatments.

I have written several epistles about the wicked treatments president Tinubu has been giving to the APC in Oyo state.

There was a time I accused the president of treating the Oyo APC like a piece of rags.

At another instance, I wrote about the fact that the president hates the current structures of the APC in Oyo state with passion.

There was a time I wrote to warn the president that there would be consequences for his maltreatment of the structures that shed sweat and blood to ensure his victory in Oyo.

The president must have laughed off such impotent threats, forgetting that when you can not handle a situation on your own, you call on God the Almighty to intervene.

I remember ending that piece with the slogan of ” Oyomesi”.

I had written to call the attention of the president to the events that eventually led to the downfall of Afonja, the Aare Ona Kakanfo who refused to listen to the warning by his late father who had warn him in a dream not to disband his old Army to embrace foreign warriors.

Naturally, the president must have thought that was Afonja.

He, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not only the president of Nigeria but also the renown master strategist who has installed Kings before becoming one.

At a point, I thought I had to leave president Tinubu alone.

After all, his schemes seems to be working for him on the surface even though, for a deep thinker, there is fire on the mountain.

We once had a president Goodluck Jonathan.

This morning and reluctantly so, I developed a strange urge to still write about the president and how he has chosen to keep going against God in the manner he has been treating the APC in Oyo state.

I must say here that this piece is my personal opinion and I have no apologies to anyone about my personal opinion on the attitude of the president towards the APC in Oyo state.

I have never met the president.

Despite that, I answered the call of our Leaders in Oyo state APC to abandon my little source of living for months so as to market the president during the rigorous campaign of 2023.

I, together with others, sacrificed time, energy and resources and while we were doing that, I, personally didn’t sign up for a president who will eventually treat me and my little contribution with disdain.

This morning, I read in the news that president Tinubu has once again given a key appointment to another member of the opposition party in Oyo state.

Chief Olasunkanmi Tegbe, Oyo South Senatorial candidate for the PDP in the 2023 election was given an appointment by the president.

I have no problems with the president appointing Tegbe into any office.

However, has the president ever paused for a minute to ask himself about how those who worked tirelessly for him as members of his political party would be feeling by his constant shabby and wicked treatments?

By his constant snubbing and wicked treatments, otherwise loyal and committed Party men are beginning to query themselves if it is worth it, giving ones undivided loyalty to the cause of a politician.

I am not unaware of the recent appointments of some members of the APC in Oyo to Boards of Governing Councils of Federal Government Institutions.

We all know what transpired and how those appointed got the appointments.

The party at the state level played no roles.

The president is one great strategist, but does he have an antidote for nemesis and retribution?

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not the first person to occupy the office he presently holds and he won’t be the last.

” Oba to je ti ilu roju…”

As candidate, the president traded the destinies of thousands of us for his personal ambition.

Unfortunately, as president, he has continued to spit on the destinies of those who sacrificed to ensure he sits in office as president today.

I know the president is preparing for 2027 but must it be at the expense of the destinies of others?

I want the president to know that on the day of retribution, no magic, no strategy, even every force of power of the office of the president will be useless.

I have kept thinking about it and I don’t seem to get it.

What exactly is president Tinubu’s anger with Oyo APC all about?

Or, let me put it this way, who exactly is president Tinubu’s enemy in Oyo APC who must be extinguished before the president is appeased?

It is very unfortunate, disgraceful and ungodly that the State Chairman of the president’s party in Oyo passed away and the president, just because he doesn’t like the face or faces of certain individuals decided not to condole with the party and the family of the deceased!

The good thing about life is that nothing is permanent.

Only change is permanent.

Babangida, Abdulsalam, Obasanjo, Jonathan and Buhari were once presidents of this Nation.

All of them are alive today and whatever they did with power has become their history which they and their generations yet unborn will have to contend with.

I do not see the need to continue to appeal to the president on this matter.

I will only conclude by praying for him to live long enough after his tenure to share in whatever history he has recorded for himself and his future generations.
