Oyo CAN visits new Soun Of Ogbomoso

The leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Oyo State chapter, led by its Chairman, Apostle (Col.) Joshua Sola Akinyemiju (JP), has visited the newly installed Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Afolabi Olaoye, at his palace in Ogbomoso.

Apostle Akinyemiju in his remarks, at the palace, counselled the people of Ogbomoso to support and cooperate with the new monarch in order to move the ancient town forward.

He said the monarch will surely reign according to the dictates of God for the people of the land hence the need for them not to relent in extending their support to him.

The Oyo State CAN Chairman reteirated the commitment of the association to the upliftment of Ogbomoso in particular and Oyo State as a whole, stating that the delegation was in Ogbomoso to felicitate the traditional ruler and join him in soliciting for God’s guidance.

Oba Olaoye appreciated the leadership of CAN for its support and prayer since his nomination and installation as the Soun of Ogbomosoland, assuring that he is committed to the overall development of the town and making it a model of socio-economic development across the state.

Apostle Akinyemiju was accompanied on the visit by executives and senior members of the Association.
