Owa Obokun Ijesa Stool : Prince Ademuyiwa Hastrup To Declare October 26, Haastrup family mourns Patriach

All arrangements have been concluded for Prince Ademuyiwa Haastrup to officially declare his interest to run for the stool of the Owa Obokun of Ijeshaland on Saturday, October 26, 2024.
Prince Haastrup made the disclosure in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, while speaking to journalists, saying “information has been passed to my families and all those who are concerned to be present at the declaration venue.”
In the meantime, the family of Owa Ajimoko Haastrup in Ijesaland has mourned the demise of its patriach, Prince Adeniran Haastrup.
The family in a statement issued in Ilesha, described the death of the father of Prince Ademuyiwa Haastrup, as a great loss not only to the family but the entire Ijeshaland.”
The statement read, “With deep sadness and a profound sense of loss, we announce the transition of our beloved patriarch, the head of the Owa Ajimoko Haastrup family of Ijesaland, Pa Julius Adeniran Haastrup. A towering figure, not only in our family but also in the community, he was a symbol of wisdom, dignity, and leadership.
“His life was a beacon of strength and integrity, guiding generations with his principles and deep sense of responsibility. His legacy etched in our hearts and the history of Ijesaland will live on in the values he impacted on us and the countless lives he touched.
“Though we mourn his passing, we celebrate a life well lived—a life of purpose, grace, and service. As we reflect on his remarkable journey, we take solace in the knowledge that his spirit continues to watch over us.
“He may have left this earthly plane, but he will forever remain in our hearts as the cornerstone of our family. His memory will inspire us to uphold the rich heritage of the Owa Ajimoko Hastrup family with pride and unity.
“Rest in peace, our father, mentor, and leader. Your legacy is everlasting.”
