Nigerians have reasons to be grateful, Bishop Aladekugbe

The Bishop of Ibadan North Anglican Diocese, the Rt.Rev’d Williams Aladekugbe, has said Nigerians have reasons to be grateful to the Almighty God despite mirage of situations they find themselves.

The cleric said this while delivering sermon at  the 80th birthday anniversary of Ven.(Dr) Moses Akinyele Akinlawon, held at the Chapel of Resurrection, University of Ibadan.
Bishop Aladekugbe in a release signed by the Ibadan North Diocesan Communicator, Comrade Olugbemiga Ayoade, admonished the celebrant as well as the congregation to be grateful to God not minding the present situation at hand, drawing his message from Psalm 103 where David said, “bless the Lord, o my soul and all that is within me, bless His Holy name.”
According to the cleric, Nigerians need to be grateful to God who forgiveth all our iniquities, heals all our diseases, redeemeth us from destruction, crowneth us with loving kindness and tender mercies.
He assured that if Nigerians continue to appreciate their creator, He is ready and prepared to meet them at the point of their needs as the heart of kings and rulers is in His hand.
He further enjoined them to remain focused on what God has done for them particularly creating them as human beings and not lesser animals or non-living things, stating that their deplorable conditions will be improved as they give God their lifetime as He will take care of them.
Many dignitaries from all walks of life that grace the occasion include Bishops, Clerics and their wives, foreign nationals, family, friends, children and other well wishers.
