Ladoja admonishes Ibadan Baales, residents to live in peace 

The Olubadan-designate, Oba (Senator) Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, has urged Ibadan residents to make peaceful co-existence their watch word.
Oba Ladoja represented by the Ekerin Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Akeem Mobolaji Adewoyin, at a meeting with the Council of Traditional Baales in Ibadanland held at Olubadan Palace, Oke-Aremo Ibadan, on Wednesday, requested for prayers and unalloyed support of all and sundry to move the city of Ibadan in particular and Oyo State in general forward.
He said, “Ibadanland is known to enjoy peaceful co- existence irrespective of difference in language, religion and tribe, therefore I urge you all to remain peaceful and be your brothers’ keepers”, Oba Ladoja emphasised.
Earlier, the President of the Council of Ibadanland Traditional Baales, Baale (Elite) Oladapo Wasiu Atilola, said they were in the palace to celebrate the departure of an achiever, peace loving and philanthropist, late Oba (Dr.) Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, and to heartily welcome the in – coming Olubadan of Ibadanland.
“We are here to showcase our loyalty to the Olubadan-designate and to assure him of our unalloyed allegiance”, he stated.
Present at the meeting include the Maye Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senior Chief Lekan Alabi; Gbonka Balogun of Ibadanland, Chief Monsur Abiola Arulogun; Gbonka Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Wasiu Aderoju Aladorin; Mogaji Muktar Adewale Gbadeyanka; Mogaji Abass Oloko; Mogaji Nurudeen Akinade; Mogaji Olasomi Ademola; Mogaji Tonade Owoade, and other Mogajis and Baales.
