Eid-el-Maulud : Ex-ALGON Chairman urges Muslim Ummah to pray for economic prosperity, peace 

As Muslims all over the world celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammed, an APC stalwart, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye (MDII), has urged every Nigerian of Islamic faith to offer special prayers for the peace, progress and economic stability of the country.

Abass-Aleshinloye, in a statement issued through his media office, urged Muslims to use the occasion of the celebration of the birth of Prophet Mohammed to imbibe and promote the virtues of humility, love, peace, harmony and mutual co-existence which the prophet exemplified.

He said, “Let us remember to pray fervently for economic prosperity of our nation to achieve greater unity and progress among our fellow countrymen and women, irrespective of religion or place of origin, and promote greater development to the nation.”

The former Oluyole local government boss also enjoined the Muslim Ummah to pray for President Bola Tinubu to successfully steer the country towards a brighter future.

“Maulud Nabiyy is a special period that calls for sober reflections and special prayers to the Almighty Allah for the peace, progress and economic stability of the country”.the ex-ALGON Chairman added.
