Club congratulates Ayoade on appointment as CPS to Olubadan 

A group, De Western Caucus Club of Ibadan, has  congratulated its pioneer President,  Fav.Comrade Solomon Olugbemiga Ayoade, on his appointment as the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin.
The club in a congratulatory message by the its President Fav. Kola Oyekanmi and Secretary, Fav. Joshua Akinola, described Ayoade as a round peg in a round hole considering his antecedents.
According to duo,  the appointment did not come as a surprise to the club considering his litany of achievements in human endeavors as he is one of the sure pillars on which the club stands, stating that he stood out among his peers as he always preach peace, commitment, progress, hard work , honestly and way forward for the club.
The statement read,  “He served Oyo State meritoriously as a Director in the department of Public Enlightenment and Mass Mobilisation in the Oyo State Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism where he was publicly acknowledged as a thorough bread senior civil servant by the then Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi of blessed memory .
“As an erudite scholar, he is the General Secretary of Ibadan Christ Apostolic Grammar School, Aperin Oniyere 1978 Old Boy’s Association and professional journalist, having served meritoriously as the Treasurer, Vice Chairman and Chairman of Oyo State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ),  he is the current chairman Ethics and Disciplinary Committee of Oyo NUJ as reported which is highly commendable.
“As an illustrious son of Eleruko compound, Oke Ofa Baba Isale, you always champion the cause of Ibadanland anywhere you find yourself, no wonder God placed you where you can serve Ibadanland better.
“As our leader ‘ agba egbe’ as you are fondly called, the ambassador of WCC, we strongly believe in your ability to contribute your quota for the progress of Ibadanland, Oyo State and Nigeria at large. Once more congratulations.”
