British American University bestows honorary doctorate degree on Olubadan 

The British American University (BAU), has confered honorary doctorate degree in Leadership and Corporate Governance on the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin.

The event took place on Thursday at the Olubadan palace located at Oke Aremo in Ibadan.

The Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Tajudeen Ajibola received the honorary doctorate degree on behalf of the first class monarch.

Ajibola who spoke on behalf of the Olubadan appreciated the institution for deeming it to confer the award, recognising the value of the honorary doctorate degree awarded and the fellowship of the University confered on the traditional ruler.

The President/Chancellor and Chairman of Council. Prof. Muhammad Ayinla Omolaja, described Olubadan as an embodiment of leadership and corporate governance as a family head, community leader, military leader, business tycoon and paramount first class traditional ruler.

He further revealed the attributes of Olubadan as a great leader and elder statesman given to the people of Ibadanland, Nigeria , Africa and the whole world to make meaningful contributions to the peaceful co-existence and development of human race.

The event was attended by the Otun Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Kolawole Adegbola and Ekerin Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Salaudeen Hamidu Ajibade.
