Birthday : Alli hails Akande’s contributions to national devt

Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South), has extended heartfelt congratulations to the former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Adeolu Akande, on the occasion of his birthday.

This was contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, and made on Wednesday in Ibadan.

Akande, a legal luminary and APC chieftain, was also former Chief of Staff to late former Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State.

Alli described Akande as a distinguished legal luminary, esteemed academician and dedicated public servant.

He acknowledged his significant contributions to Nigeria’s telecommunications sector during his tenure as NCC Chairman.

Alli said Akande’s visionary leadership has greatly enhanced digital connectivity and fostered economic growth across the nation.

The lawmaker lauded his contributions to academia, where he  inspired countless students and colleagues with his profound knowledge and dedication to scholarship.

He said Akande’s legacy as an educator and mentor continues to impact the academic community positively.

“As you celebrates your birthday today,  on behalf of the people of Oyo South, I  wish you continued health, happiness, and success in all your future endeavours, ” he said.

He expressed confidence that his exemplary life of service and excellence will continue to inspire many.
