Ayoade installed Asiwaju Eleruko Town 

The Chief Press Secretary to Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, Comrade Solomon Olugbemiga Ayoade, was on Saturday, installed the Asiwaju of Eleruko town by the Baale Eleruko, Baale Olawatosin Segelu Akintola during the 8th Igbo – Elerin Day.

Baale Akintola during the installation charged the new Asiwaju to lead  and  mobilize all sons daughters of Eleruko in Nigeria and Diaspora to ensure the unity, progress and development of Eleruko at urban and rural cities.

He further admonished the new Asiwaju in conjunction with elders, executive members and entire descendants to  ensure regular attendance at meetings, contributing their quotas to peaceful dispute resolutions where and when the need arises.

Baale Olawatosin added that his office is widely open for visits, counselling and needed information, stating that he is a listening leader and accredited representative of the Olubadan of Ibadanland .

Asiwaju Ayoade in his acceptance speech, assured the Baale as well as the Elders Council that all efforts will be put in place to achieve the aims and objectives of Eleruko town.

He also called on Eleruko descendants to come to Macedonia to rebuild its fallen fences.

Igbo – Elerin Day is an annual event where Baales, installed traditional title holders  and other invited guests from towns and villages in Igbo – Elerin  and its environs gathered.
