APC group lauds Tinubu over appointment of Shittu as Chairman, Governing Council, DUFUHS 

A Coalition within the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Tinubu-Shettima Coalition for Good Governance, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for appointing former Minister of Communications, Dr. Adebayo Shittu, as Chairman, Governing Council of David Umahi Federal University of Medical Sciences (DUFUHS), Uburu, Ebonyi State.

The  coalition which is made up of 1,141 support groups from all the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, gave the commendation in a statement by its Director General, Dr. Shittu; Deputy Director General, Dr. Musa Usman and Chairman, Think-Tank/Resource Persons Group, Prof. Oserheimen Osunbor, and made available in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The coalition in the statement said it is confident that Shittu will discharge his duties as Chairman of the Governing Council creditably well given his track record of excellent performance in his previous offices.

It however urged President Tinubu to consider other members of the group for consideration for appointment into other government offices.

It would be recalled that the Coalition played very  crucial and active roles for the victory of President Tinubu during the 2023 general elections.
