Aladekugbe elected Archbishop Ibadan Province 

The Rt. Reverend (Dr) Williams Oluwarotimi Aladekugbe The Bishop of Ibadan North Anglican Diocese, the Rt. Reverend (Dr.) Williams Oluwarotimi Aladekugbe, has been elected the Archbishop of Ibadan Province.
The announcement was made on Monday August 12, by His Grace, Primate and Cosmopolitan of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion , Most Reverend (Dr.) Henry Ndukuba, during the Episcopal Synod at St. Mattew’s  Anglican Church, Maitama, Abuja Diocese.
A statement by the Communicator, Ibadan North Anglican Diocese, Comrade Solomon Olugbemiga Ayoade, said during the Episcopal Synod, four Archbishops were elected, while seven clergy men were also elected as Bishops .
According to him, the elevation of Aladekugbe did not come as a surprise to the clergy and laity of Ibadan North Anglican Diocese and visitors to the Diocese considering the giant steps he has taken on spiritual works and unprecedented capacity building of both members and infrastructures two years ago when he became the Bishop of Ibadan North Anglican Diocese.
Aladekugbe in the statement called for the prayers of all and sundry and unflinching support to further take Ibadan North Anglican Diocese, Ibadan Province, as well as Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion to a greater height.
