AIG team unveils candidates for Oyo NULGE Delegates Conference 

Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Authentic Integrity Group (AIG), has unveiled its candidates for the forthcoming 8th Quadrennial State Delegates Conference of the Union scheduled for Thursday, August 7, 2025.

The group in a statement issued in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, by its media team, listed the candidates vying for various positions to include Comrade Adeogun Ayobami Olusegun (State President); Comrade Olaleye Samson Kola (Deputy State President); Comrade Raji Uthman Olakunle (State Treasurer); Comrade Atilola Kafayat Oyeronke (State Women Chairperson); Comrade Hassan Sulaiman Abidemi (State Publicity Secretary); Comrade Olanrewaju Ahmed (State Trustee) and Comrade Olanrewaju Michael Ade (State Trustee).

Others are Comrade Adelodun Wasiu Atilade (State Auditor); Comrade Adebagbo Lukman Abiodun(State Auditor); Comrade Opatayo Waheed Olaoye (State Welfare); Comrade (Prince) Tella Taofeeq Adekunle (State Welfare); Comrade Oladepo Kehinde Abiodun (State Welfare) and Comrade Ojoye Atere Risquat O. (State Young Workers’ Rep).

It said the candidates who are tested, trusted members of the Union given their track records will protect the interest and welfare of members all over the state, stating that thrir stewardship has been one of integrity, inclusiveness and capacity building, among many others.

The statement read, “With great honour, sense of responsibility, and unshaken commitment to service, the Authentic Integrity Group (AIG), under the visionary leadership of Comrade Ayobami Olusegun Adeogun, proudly declares its tested and trusted team members to vie for various State Executive Positions in the forthcoming Oyo State Delegates Conference slated for Thursday, 7th August, 2025.

“This declaration comes on the heels of our proven track record in promoting the image of the Union and relentlessly protecting the interest and welfare of our members across all cadres and departments in the Local Government Service, Primary Health Care Board and State Universal Basic Education Board of Oyo State.

“Our stewardship has been one of integrity, inclusiveness, capacity building, equity in representation, and welfare-driven policies that have reshaped the narrative of the Union at both the Branch and State levels.

“As we present our new team—made up of loyal, competent, passionate and visionary comrades—we do so with confidence in our shared vision for continuity, innovation, and deeper progress.
