Florence Ajimobi expresses shock as  Subair, ex- OYSHA Majority Leader dies in London

Former First Lady of Oyo State and President of the Senator Abiola Ajimobi Foundation(SAAF), Dr. (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi, has expressed shock over the death of Hon. Kehinde Subair,  former Majority Leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly.

 In a heartfelt condolence message to the family of the former lawmaker,  the All Progressives Congress and his colleagues between 2011to 2019 when he was at the state Assembly, she described Subair’s death as a great loss which has left a vacuum  in the  political landscape of Oyo State

 “His passing leaves a void that will be difficult to fill, but his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched as a lawmaker ”, she said.

She described Subair as a dedicated politician, a passionate advocate for his constituents, and a key figure in the development of Oyo State during his time in the House of Assembly. She highlighted his commitment to public service and his role in fostering unity and progress within the state.

“I am deeply saddened by the news of Hon. Kehinde Subair’s passing. He was a remarkable political figure whose contributions to Oyo State will never be forgotten. His legacy of service, integrity, and dedication to the people will continue to inspire us all. My heart goes out to his family, friends, and the entire Oyo State during this painful time,” Mrs. Ajimobi said.

She prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul and urged his loved ones to take comfort in the lasting impact he made during his lifetime. Mrs. Ajimobi also called on the people of Oyo State to honor his memory by upholding the values of selflessness and commitment to community development that he exemplified.

Part of the message read, “I share in the grief and sorrow that his family is experiencing now. He was  a remarkable individual who left an indelible mark as a lawmaker. He was loyal to the cause of my husband when he was governor. We take comfort in the knowledge that he  lived a  meaningful life of service and that his memory will continue to inspire and motivate us.

“To his children,   I want to remind you that your father died at the most unexpected time,   but his spirit, wisdom, and love will continue to guide and direct you. Hold on to the memories, cherish the moments you shared with him, and strive to emulate his example”.
