Encomium as Oluyole LG honours ex-ALGON Chairman, Aleshinloye with award for contributions to LG
The ancient city of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital was on Tuesday, agog with festivities at a vocational training graduation and distinguished merit award ceremony organized by the Oluyole local government under the leadership of Engineer Akeem Olatunji.
The event brought together political stakeholders from different parties in the State and captain of industries.
Former Executive Chairman,Oluyole Local Government, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye received another distinguished merit award from Oluyole local government area.
Having successfully served the good people of the Council for two terms before being elected as the ALGON Chairman in the state thereafter.
Presenting the award, Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon Adebo Ogundoyin to Aleshinloye and flanked by Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy,Hon Demola Ojo, the award was presented in recognition and appreciation of your outstanding contributions to the development of the local government.
While receiving the award, Aleshinloye was excited at the recognition and expressed his gratitude to the Chairman, Oluyole Local Government, Engineer Akeem Olatunji, for recognizing his progressive activities in the local government, assuring the people that the award would spur him to double his efforts in delivering the dividends of democracy.
Aleshinloye commended Olatunji for his exemplary works he has implemented since he assumed the post of the Chairman and advised him on the feedback mechanism as a key to success.
Dignitaries at the event are Speaker OYHA, Rt. Hon. Edward Adebo Ogundoyin; Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Demola Ojo, SUBEB Chairman, Dr. Nureni Adeniran; Members Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Waheed Akintayo, Hon. Babalola, Hon Olorunpoto and former Commissioner of Health, Dr. Gbola Adetunji.
And on the entourage of Aleshinloye include former Chairman, Ona Ara, Hon. Ogundele; former Chairman Ido, Hon. Wahab Oladejo; former Chairman, Ibadan South LCDA, Hon. Fagunwa, former Chairman Akorede LCDA, Hon. Adesokan; former deputy chairman APC, Hon Isiaka Alimi and traditional rulers, among others.
