Continue to be law abiding — Olubadan urges Edo Indigenes
The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, has urged the Edo Indigenes residing in Ibadanland to continue to be law abiding.
He gave the charge during a courtesy visit to the his palace located at Oke Aremo , Ibadan.
The monarch while speaking through the Ekefa Balogun of Ibadanland, Senior Chief Raifu Amusa Eleruwere, appreciated the Edo people for paying the courtesy visit, noting that there are many non- indigenes in Ibadan that are yet to visit him and that Edo Indigenes in Ibadanland should continue with their normal businesses without fear.
The leader of the team, Chief Joseph Saliu Emoabino, in his remarks, congratulated Oba Olakulehin for ascending the throne of his forefathers hale and hearty.
He disclosed that the delegates of Edo people had stayed in Ibadan for over 40 years where they have produced business leaders and professionals such as lawyers, doctors, engineers and business tycoons, among others.
He then lauded Oba Olakulehin and the Olubadan Advisory Council for allowing peaceful co -existence to reign supreme in the ancient city.
Present at the event include the Asiwaju Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Ademola Odunade; Aremo (Barrister) Sunmbo Owolabi Olakulehin and Mr. Kolawole Balogun, among others.
