Oyo NACJ condoles NUJ Chairman, Ademola Babalola on mother’s death
The Nigeria Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ), Oyo State Chapter, has expressed its condolences to Chief Ademola Babalola, Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Oyo State Council, on the demise of his mother, Mrs. Wulemotu Aweni Babalola.
The association expressed its condolences in a release signed by its Chairman, Lekan Shobo Shobowale, and made available to journalists through its spokesperson, Adeola Badru.
The statement read, “As we all know, the death of one’s parents, particularly, one’s mother, could be painful. On this, we empathise with you.
“Though Mama joined the saints triumphant at an advanced age, her children, relatives, and acquaintances will miss her greatly.
“Death, everyone is aware, is an inevitable end for all. Our prayer is that Mama’s soul shall continue to reside in the bosom of her Maker till we meet to part no more.
“So, on behalf of all members of Oyo State Chapter of the NACJ, I commiserate with you. And I pray that all of Mama’s children shall live longer to eat the fruit of their labour.
“Accept our condolences and take heart, our dear Chairman.”
