Aladekugbe : Disobedience, lack of unity causes of Nigeria’s tribulations
The Lord Bishop of Ibadan North Anglican Diocese, Rt Rev. (Dr.) Williams Oluwarotimi Aladekugbe, has identified disobedience to the constitution and lack of unity as the causes of tribulations in the country.
A release by the Diocesan Communicator, Comrade Ayoade Olugbemiga, disclosed that the cleric said this while delivering sermon at the Cathedral of St. Peter Aremo, Ibadan.
The Bishop admonished the congregation to seek and obey the Holy Spirit who is the comforter, teacher, advocate and the giver of all gifts
He further stressed that Nigerians should have belief in the unity of Nigeria as a country and within themselves if truly they want it to move forward.
He then enjoined human beings all over the world to stop rushing for riches, promotion and position but rather wait for their own time as demonstrated by the disciples after the ascension of Jesus Christ when they eventually received the Holy Spirit, spiritual empowerment and other gifts of life.
