2024 Primus Awards : Eagle 102.5 FM, Ilese-Ijebu garners five prestigious wins

Eagle 102.5 FM located in Ilese-Ijebu, Ogun State, has loomed large at the 2024 Primus Broadcast Media Awards held in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, as it clinched five coveted honors, thus solidifying its position as a leader in the broadcast industry.

The station’s impressive performance highlighted its exceptional talent, with Sodiq Ademola, shining as the star of the night by bagging multiple awards, including the prestigious Presenter of the Year.

The event, attended by top figures in the media industry, reaffirmed Eagle FM’s status as a powerhouse in radio broadcasting with Sodiq Ademola, one of statio ’s standout hosts, taking home four individual awards, underscoring his remarkable versatility and talent.

His insightful and balanced delivery of political content earned him the Best Political Presenter award, a testament to his ability to tackle complex political issues with authority and clarity.

Similarly, his lively and humorous persona also won him the Funniest OAP (On-Air Personality) award, showcasing his unique blend of humor and engaging content that resonates deeply with listeners.

According to the judges, Ademola was recognized as the Most Creative Presenter, reflecting his innovative approach to radio programming and content delivery.

The award was further remarked to have cemented his reputation as a trailblazer in the industry and capping off his night, Ademola was named Presenter of the Year, a title that celebrates his overall excellence and contributions to the broadcasting world.

Eagle FM’s Ilese-Ijebu winning streak extended beyond Ademola, with Phoebe Gladys being honored as the Most Impactful Presenter.

Her powerful storytelling and ability to drive meaningful conversations through her radio segments were acknowledged, particularly in areas related to community development and social issues while her programs have been instrumental in raising awareness and inspiring change, earning her the well-deserved accolade.
